Non-anxiously Following Christ
Thus far in Explore I have been learning and grasping the concept of living out the life of a non-anxious, faithful follower of Christ. This has consisted of me going through various experiences such as a fall backpacking trip, fall skills, and specialization, and having these experiences impact and influence me into becoming a non-anxious, faithful follower of Christ. Throughout these adventures my group and I encountered many scenarios where there was uncertainty. For example, during the backpacking trip we had significant trouble finding Lost Lake. It took us multiple tries to reach the campsite around the lake. There was a collective sense of uncertainty in whether or not we would actually find a campsite to spend the night. However, I decided to remain in a non-anxious state and have faith in my group and in God to take care of us. The adventures have also been teaching me that I can put my faith in God, my rock and anchor, in every situation. No matter what chaos I may be going through God will remain faithful to me and I have no reason to not put all my trust and faith in him. In addition, Explore has been aiding me in realizing that God is sufficient for me, and there is nothing else that can suffice or satisfy me. Throughout the rest of this year I have no doubt that God will continue to show me new things and shape me into a non-anxious, faithful leader and follower of Christ.
