God’s Faithful Work
Welcome to Explore… Surprise! Uncertainty. The reason I love Explore is the same reason that I dislike Explore. It pushes you out of your comfort zone. The result of this is that it causes rapid growth if you have a willing heart. One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that when it comes to fear you must push through it. “Just do it” is a phrase I have told myself so many times. Fear focuses your perspective to the momentary, but if you keep your focus on the goal, you can begin to see good in the midst of fear. When you are rock climbing and your goal is to reach the top you think of how good it will be even if in the moment you are freaking out. Push through it. I hate Explore because it pushes you out of your comfort zone causing fear, but I love Explore because it pushes you out of your comfort zone causing growth. I am very stubborn when it comes to doing things I don’t want to do. I mean who actually WANTS to do stuff that you really DON’T want to do. I have learned that if you don’t push through that fear you will not change. You might grow but fear will always control the amount of your growth. Heights will always scare you if you never choose to climb that mountain. Fear holds us back from growing closer with God. To overcome that fear you need faith. Faith acts on the belief that no matter the outcome everything will be alright. It will always be alright because God holds my life in his hands. My faith is in God. I am excited to see what the outcome of my time in Explore will be according to God’s faithful work in my life.
